DUSTY TO DUST: THE FUNERAL OF THE (LEAP) YEAR (OF THE RAT)

Continuing from the roaring success of the 'Wedding', Dusty Limits, Naomi Blume, Ruby Blues & Kate Friend (in various forms) are to return to celebrate Dusty & Naomi's untimely death for the Funeral of the (Leap) Year (of the Rat) on 30th October 2008 at the Soho Revue Bar, London.

It is with great sadness that we report the untimely death of Mr Dusty Limits, cabaret legend and notorious drunkard. While the cause of death is still the subject of official investigation, we cannot go into further detail here, apart from to announce that his funeral and memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, 30th October at Soho Revue Bar.

As with the wedding, various friends, lovers and creditors of Mr Limits and Ms Blume will be in attendance, reminiscing and celebrating these lives through the media of song, dance, aerial performance and burlesque striptease.

The cast of those performers eager to share their memories and bask in their rapidly fading limelight currently includes: BOURGEOIS AND MAURICE, CHRYS COLUMBINE, FANCY CHANCE, FRISKY AND MANNISH, LOUISE HOLLAMBY, CHERRI SHAKEWELL, LAURIE HAGEN, VICKY BUTTERFLY, OPHELIA BITZ, ROXY VELVET, RUBY BLUES & HOOLIGAN NIGHT, THE AMAZING ARI, THE STILLHOUSE ORCHESTRA, TOM BAKER, THE CRAIC HEADS

Wedding of the (Leap) Year (of the Rat)

Naomi was a central character in the Neo-Burlesque Cabaret "Event of the Week, Month, Year" (Time Out). Dusty Limits, the original male-order Bride, is to wed three gorgeous Grooms, Kate Friend, Naomi Blume and Ruby Blues, in a madcap happening celebrating the spirit of polymorphous perversity and Eighties androgyny.

The Grooms comprise three of the London underworld's most decadent and dangerous darlings; rock starlet Ms Blues, celebrated artist Ms Blume and glamorous photographer Ms Friend, while Mr Limits is notorious throughout the city as the dark prince of alternative cabaret. As befits such a borderline occasion, the happy event takes place on the Leap Day, February 29th, at the temple of London's neo-burlesque revival, The Bethnal Green Working Men's Club.

A cast of thousands will assemble to bear witness to their collective but not legally binding love for one another. Death-defying queen of the Fire-Tusk Painproof Circus, the Reverend Lucifire, will preside over the occasion, which features guest appearances by some of London's most-loved performers including Miss Behave ('The Absent Father'), Fancy Chance ('The Best Man'), and Ophelia Bitz ('The Maid of Dishonour'), plus: Dave Tusk, Des O'Connor, Tricity Vogue, Chrys Columbine-Mascara, Vicky Butterfly, Russella, Frodo Baggins, and many, many more.

The Gin Palace Presents...,

Naomi and her motley crew took the success of Glastonbury's Gin Palace and decided to bring a little something of the mad-cap festival spirit to the gritty streets of London.

The Gin Love Palace presents 'Dead Love' was a huge success and homage to all our favourite fallen heroes and took place at the George Tavern, East London on February 27, 2006, and covered by Bizaare magazine.
